Persis Granger
Persis Granger edited and co-authored Shared Stories
from Daughters of Alzheimer's: Writing a Path to Peace in 2002, reprinted
in 2004. In 2003 she published the young adult work of historical fiction,
Adirondack Gold and the Adirondack Gold Teacher's Guide.

by The John Thurman Historical Society.
She
has had
pieces published in Adirondack Life,
Adirondack Family, Orlando Woman and BackRoads,
as well as numerous local newspapers. She visits schools, libraries, book clubs
and support groups to present programs, and hosts events for writers, including
the Adirondack Mountain Writers' Retreat (this
August a three-day memoir workshop with Irene Sherlock) and the St.
George Island Writers' Retreat for Women (with outstanding YA novelist Adrian
Fogelin).
