RATES & FEES

Resident Participants - The base cost of The St. George Island Writers' Retreat is $750 per person, a fee that covers loding at beautiful Abbeyfeale (with highspeed internet access, free long distance, pool, jacuzzi), workshops, conferencing, snacks, beverages and all meals. Cost of any offsite meals and entertainment will be the guest's responsibility. Discounts will apply (see below). Full payment is due when you send in your registration.

Nonresident Commuter Participants - There will be four openings for nonresident commuter participants, at a base cost of $550. Their fees will cover participation in all activities and meals at the retreat, but will not include lodging. Discounts will apply. Residents will share rooms and bathrooms, but will have their own beds.

Cancellation - If the organizers cancel the retreat, your money will be refunded in full. If you cancel, a sliding scale will apply to refunds, depending upon the date of cancellation. (See cancellation policy below.)

DISCOUNTS

All participants must agree to plan, shop for and prepare (or order in!) one dinner or two lunches or four breakfasts (maximum of 13 people), and will have $100 deducted from the base fee of $750 for residents and $550 for commuters. (See our "Accommodations" page for additional information about meals.)

An additional $50 discount is available to resident participants who enroll with a friend (and the resident friend will also receive that discount). There are no discounts or partial fees for those who opt to participate in only part of the St. George Island Writers' Retreat.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be made in writing.

Cancellations made by participants incur a penalty:

November 1-16: No refunds unless all vacancies are filled. If all vacancies are filled, $200 processing fee will be held and the remainder refunded.*
*Refund to be made November 16.

Cancellation by organizers:
Your money will be refunded in full if organizers are forced to cancel.
