RETREAT
RATES & FEES
Resident
participation fee of $675
will include all on-site meals and activities from Tuesday noon through
Monday breakfast. Those who arrive Monday will make decisions
about Monday dinner. Discounts
(see below) may be applied to the retreat fee.
Commuter participation fee of $600 covers all of the above except
breakfast and lodging. Cost of any offsite meals and entertainment
will be the guest's responsibility.
Any
participant may arrive on Monday, Nov. 7 for free writing time.
Structured meals and activities will begin Tuesday noon. Residents may
stay over until 9 a.m. Monday, November 14.
Securing
the Retreat Registration - Secure your retreat registration with
a deposit of no less than $100. Balance is due by October 25th. Reservations
not paid by October 25th will be presumed cancelled.
Cancellation
- If the organizer cancels the retreat, your money will be refunded
in full. If you cancel, a sliding scale will apply to refunds, depending
upon the date of cancellation. (See cancellation policy below.)
DISCOUNTS
A $50 discount is available to participants who enroll with a friend
(and the friend also will receive that discount). Past
Fiction Among Friends retreat participants may apply the "Friends
Discount" or a returning participant
discount coupon, but not both. Also available is the Meal Deal discount
of $100 for a participant who prearranges to provide and prepare one
dinner or two lunches for the group.
This may be combined with another discount.

Cancellations
must be made in writing.
Cancellations
made by participants may incur a penalty:

24 to November 7: No refunds unless all vacancies are filled. If
all vacancies are filled, $50 processing fee will be held and the remainder
refunded.*
*Refund to be made November 25.
Cancellation
by organizer:

refunded in full if organizer is forced to cancel.
